PASTOR

Frank BlueReverend Dr. William Franklin Blue was born in Dillon, South Carolina, and currently lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and earned his Master of Divinity Degree as well as his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina.

He began his career with Wells Fargo Corporation in 1998 as a Corporate Transportation & Distribution Services Manager. For the past 12 years, he has served as the Southeastern Regional Manager for Enterprise Interoffice Systems within Wells Fargo Corporation.

Pastor Blue was inducted into the Claflin University Hall of Fame for Outstanding Service in 2008 and was recognized by the NAACP as the Most Outstanding Alumnus of the Year for Claflin University in 2009.

Pastor Blue is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc, and a member of the Hidden Valley Optimist Club.

Through his compassion and empathy for people, Pastor Blue began serving by simply observing that there was a void within his community to assist others in need. He has made significant and substantial contributions to the city of Charlotte by supporting the United Way of Central Carolinas, The Arts and Science Council, The American Heart Association, and disaster relief.

Pastor Blue is the Senior Minister of Great Joy Baptist Church in McConnells, South Carolina. He is married to the former Lucinda Bowen of Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Pastor Blue and Lucinda are the parents of one son Jarrod, who is a Law student at the University of Tennessee.

Pastor Blue, preacher, teacher, and lecturer, is true to the calling that God has placed upon his life. He stands on the principle of God. While others are searching for economic plans for prosperity, he believes we only need to look to the word of God. “Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be poured in your lap.”
Luke 6:38.
